WaterMarks: An Atlas of Water for the City of Milwaukee is a collaborative and urban-scaled vision for the city of Milwaukee. Residents come together to share stories, learn, and become further engaged with water. Based on the WaterMarks founders, Mary Miss and Aaron Asis, WaterMarks’ teams build on Milwaukee neighborhood environmental and community driven initiatives by offering WALKS, WORKSHOPS and PROJECTS to collaboratively imagine and foster new and positive narratives of a sustainable future in Milwaukee, not only in terms of water but in terms of the neighborhoods themselves. We are currently working on 15 WaterMarks/WaterMarker sites in 11 neighborhoods.
